Actually, I am the queen, but the men in my life haven’t quite figured that out yet. I am 37 and have been married to the same wonderful man for 14 years. We now have six amazing, strange, beautiful and entertaining children. They are 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, and 1. I have a four year degree in psychology with a minor in English. I have a teacher’s certificate from a private university. I have a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. I taught elementary school for 4 years. Those degrees have not come in handy at all when it comes to raising children. Before I had them, I was sure I knew it all. Now, I’m convinced that I don’t know a darn thing. There wasn’t a single book that I read that I could honestly say helped me out. When you give birth, you get thrown to the wolves.
Not only are we raising children, we have added livestock to the mix too. We have 17 chickens, and 2 pigs.(they are in the freezer) A dairy cow named Belle. (she’s a jersey) We also have a strange two year old Border Collie named Montana. We’re still not sure that she likes us very much, but she sticks around.
As far as my blog goes, this is entertainment. I want to remember these days when my boys are men and my daughters hate me. The good, the bad, and the ugly. This blog is not for those with a weak constitution. I’m not a perfect parent, but these aren’t perfect children. We are doing the best we can with what we have. All six of them eat everyday, they go swimming, they get read to, and they are happy. What you are reading is generally the most interesting part of our day or week. I write them because it’s good for me. After it is all said and done, I find the humor in our lives, I have to.

Haha wow. I read your blog so far. Scary
I don’t think I would ever want 4 children all at the same time lol. But it does sound exciting. Good luck with everything!!

All the best to you and the team!
It sounds to me as though you’re doing a fantastic job. I am overcome with admiration! I have two boys and though they’re wonderful and I love them hugely, they wear me out on a daily basis.
Great blog and very therapeutic I bet.
You are my hero. I wanna be just like you when I grow up.
Wait. I’m older than you.
Shit.
I LOVE your blog! And your family.
