Last night Libby woke up screaming at 11:30. I had been asleep for about 90 minutes. Poor thing smelled terrible. Turns out she had thrown up. She needed a shower and I had to throw all of her bedding in the wash. That done, I took her into bed with me. I didn’t plan for her to continue to throwing up. Well, she did. The second time I managed to get her blanket in front of her so she didn’t soak my bed. The blanket went into the laundry room. We rarely get the puking at our house. So infrequently, that I can’t ever remember staying up with a sick child. Well, she threw up so much and so often, that she was dry heaving and spitting up mucas by 5 am. Yes, she tossed, turned, and puked about every 45 minutes all night long. At 2:30 I decided that I should probably turn my alarm off. Good thing I did. I was still holding a puking toddler at 5 when I should have been running. Needless to say, today was filled with coffee and laundry.
Wow, poor Libby – sure hope she is better
today. Hope you are okay.
Wow, how awful. I hope that Libby is doing better and that you are okay.
